The list of accepted papers for Eurocrypt 2007 has been announced. The conference will be taking place from May 20th to 24th 2007 in Barcelona, Spain.

There are few papers devoted to symmetric cryptanalysis, isn’t it?
The only papers related to the cryptanalysis of symmetric primitives I’ve been able to identify are:
M. Stevens and A. Lenstra and B. de Weger: Chosen-prefix Collisions for MD5 and Colliding X.509 Certificates for Different Identities
H. Wu and B. Preneel: Differential Cryptanalysis of the Stream Ciphers Py, Py6 and Pypy
Maybe it’s just me, but the cryptanalytic perspective – in general, not just the symmetric schemes – seems to be a little bit underrepresented at this year’s EUROCRYPT…
